Hardware/Terminal Solutions

Hardware/Terminal solutions are more suitable for merchants who sell retail, trade show, restaurant and have face-to-face contact with customers. All that is required is a swipe of the credit card through the machine and it is completed. You are also able to enter the numbers of the card manually via the keypad.

Swipe terminals, primarily, are used in a "Card Present" situation. "Card Present" means that at least 80% of your business is done face-to-face with your customers so you can "swipe" or "slide" the card through the terminal.

Purchase prices for terminals range from $200 to $1,000+. The pricing greatly depends on the units features and how much the Merchant Account Provider wants to profit off of a terminal sale.

When you choose a terminal, it would be wise to choose one that supports AVS (Address Verification System). AVS is used to greatly reduce the chances of getting fraudulent orders. POS (Point Of Sale) Swipe Terminals

All-In-One Units:
You can ave space and money by purchasing a terminal and printer in-one.

Mobile Units:
If there's no power outlets or no phone lines, wireless systems will be good for you wherever you go.

PIN Pads:
You can add the ability to accept ATM cards through your credit card terminal with the addition of a PIN Pad

Printers:
Print professional looking receipts and save time during check-out. With thermal printing there is no need to replace a printer ribbon.
