Telecharge transactions are processed through a toll free number. Any touch tone telephone can be used. So there'll be no equipment costs and no monthly minimums.

After processing the order over the phone you then fill out a charge slip for each order and send it in via fax or regular mail.

TeleCharge then electronically deposits the proceeds from each sale into the TeleCharge merchants' designated checking accounts five days after the verification dates.

The company's LinkPoint API uses a sophisticated application programming interface (API) to integrate secure credit card acceptance into a merchant's Web site, enabling customers to pay for products and services with a credit card. LinkPoint API uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to ensure that the merchant's order and payment information are safely protected. This product provides ordering, payment options, tax and shipping calculations, and the unique ability to offer the sale of digital merchandise through electronic software downloads (ESD).
